Brand of Portuguese origin, La Paz spring/Summer 22 is waiting to be discovered.
Among the first to bring it to Italy, we at BDL are literally in love with La Paz.
This new season, it may seem strange, but it amazed us even more.
Let us briefly retrace for those who still do not know and know (very few) the origins.
In 2011 André Bastos, founder of the La Paz brand, decided that the time had come not only to sell handicrafts in his concept store, but also to create something that could express the Portuguese spirit and the quality of the handmade.
Passionate about anthropology and fashion, Bastos for the collections of the LA PAZ brand is completely inspired by the Portuguese seafaring tradition, the old fishermen of the Atlantic Ocean, the cuts of their clothing and their fabrics - an example of how fashion can draw inspiration from all disciplines.
This research led him to rediscover vintage and traditional fabrics, such as flannel, coarse wool knitwear and rustic cotton, which he adopted for their simplicity and quality. Bastos has been able to combine such particular fabrics with models with simple and pure lines, for a basic series that is not at all obvious.
In this new season we notice more and more the line of the brand.
Shirts with slim collars, and from cannolè with three-button fastenings in relief, "long-Johns" in cotton to fight the cold: the collection reflects the brand's desire to spread a very captivating image that is based on a research in the world of Portuguese heritage and costume.
The nice edition of the lookbooks that trace the old collections of postcards and include an elegant package of sardines in spicy oil always make everything close to the ocean.
You can see, try and buy all this good luck from Saturday 11 June in the shop and on the website.
Come on come on you can't move this summer without a LA PAZ piece.
