Rita Row was born in Figueres (Girona) in June 2013 and is made up of her two halves, Imma Serra and Xènia Semis.
A brand we met one day in one of the many showrooms that we visit out of passion and culture during our research work.
The brand is made up mainly of women. The sex that thinks anything is possible.
They are hardworking and passionate and love living and working in their hometown, near the sea.
Everything they design, they do with the women who inspire them in mind.
Rita loves comfort, quality and unique clothing. She is a modern, hardworking, sensitive to detail and free woman.
At Rita Row, they feel and promote the industry's commitment to quality. It is a project with an integral soul, which combines tradition, conscience, design and exclusivity.
You can feel their desire to offer a new generation of quality clothing for women looking for distinctive clothing.
Locally produced clothing is uniquely positioned for greater ethical awareness. Defined as clothing items made, designed and constructed in the brand's hometown or country, these products allow brands to contribute to the local economy while having greater control over their supply chains. Local production not only supports small producers in the process, but also allows designers to be responsive to best sellers.
What local manufacturing offers the brand is the ability to take greater control over these processes. Armed with greater knowledge of the origin of fabrics, the brand can strive to make their garments as ethical as possible. And by supporting these fashion lines, consumers can also have this effect on their wardrobe. There is great value to be found in local fashion. Not only in terms of the creativity of these products, but also in terms of supporting the local economy and employment, while also reducing the environmental impact of fashion.
Ethical life. Ethical and sustainable production. Responsible trade.
All Rita Row garments are manufactured between Spain and Portugal, produced ethically and the people who work in the textile production chain have access to a fair wage, safety and decent working conditions. The team has developed close and long-term working relationships with factories, we consider every employee in the supply chain as a member of the Rita Row team.
The threads and fabrics all come from Europe (Spain, Italy and France) and most fabrics have certificates of origin.
In this company they try to keep the supply chain as sustainable as possible, the goal is to achieve fair, safe and healthy conditions along the entire chain, prioritizing the ethical process and products with recycled and ecological content to minimize the environmental impact.
They are in favor of trends that help implement values in a society that is willing to consume more consciously. It's not an impossible mission, we just need to all take a responsible and ethical attitude towards fashion like Rita Row does.
